Once upon a time I only counted a good day on the water when I caught a
lot of fish or a big fish. It is funny how ones perspective changes
over time as one matures at least that's what I will consider it. The
other day I met my friend Geoff on the carp flats and collectively we
had maybe 6-8 targets. In my recent experience I would say I average on
carp per 10-12 shots at a good target. So with that math we got
skunked, yet it was a great day on the water. Part of it has to do with
getting some good photos, but I had fun, learned a few new things about
carp, and was grateful for the opportunity to cast to such a great
gamefish. I'll let the photos do the rest of my talking.
