A few years back I had the good fortune to get involved in one of our local Trout Unlimited chapters and have since become a board member. The best part of being a member is hanging out with this great group of guys. This past weekend I was able to share some water with a number of them. I am just grateful for opportunity to spend time with such a warm, funny, friendly and ego less group. Collectively they do some amazing conservation work and provide a great example of peer leadership. I didn't get pics of everyone but there will be other opportunities.

Intermission
This past weekend I got out for a couple of walks. One was between my son's basketball game on Saturday and the other one was before his game on Sunday. Many birds were spotted and the days varied greatly. Saturday was warm and in the 70's. Sunday was breezy and in the high 40's at least in the morning when I was out. Seeing the migrants which change weekly is like seeing old friends.

A Walk in the Park
Got out for a short after work walk in one of our local parks. Found a bunch of new seasonal avian visitors plus some year round resident birds. I saw two eagles, grackles, red winged black birds, tree swallows, king birds, yellow throated warblers, pheobe's, and yellow warblers. Here are the two pictures that caught my eye.
