Got out for a little photography this morning and found some interesting sights especially this old bus.

A Blast from the Past

Got out fishing to an old haunt.  Given the tough conditions all around and a deep desire to do a little early season trout season left us searching far and wide for some suitable water.  We ended up hitting the Farmington River in CT.  Years ago when I lived in MA. my buddy and I used to fish it every Wednesday night after work.  That was many many moons ago and I hadn't fished there since 91 or there abouts. We had a great time and it brought back many memories from days gone by.  Everyone caught some fish but we had to work for them.  We even got some on dries which was a bonus.  With the afternoon rain the blue winged olives made a nice appearance to the delight of us and the fish

Went out for a walk yesterday and the confluence of time and location allowed me to get this shot of a Ruby Crowned Kinglet.  Beautiful little birds.

Revisits

 Here it is trout season is officially open yet this  year it will be a little bit before it's worth hitting it hard. The rivers are all high, cold and chocolate.  Not the conditions that I'm looking forward to.  So to keep me excited I've been going through some old photos thinking about warmer days.
