In the Rearview

2011 has been another great year on the water.  We are blessed with a wide variety of options here and I do my best to take full advantage.  Here are some pics from 2011.

An old Ford

With little fishing on the agenda I have been out on taking some pictures for a few hours here and there.  On one of my outings I saw this old Ford in someones yard.

Chickadee's

Chickadee's are one of my favorite birds. I love their little chatter and bustle in the woods.  Given how fast they flit about they can be tricky to get a clear photo of.  I got these two today that I liked. 

 

 

B+W conversions

Been playing around with BW and actually really enjoying the affect of light on different objects.  Have a ton to learn about this but it is cool.

Bird Wonderings

Went out for a few hours in search of pictures.  Learned a bit about ISO and that I have to set it lower as anything above 800 is too grainy.  Here are my favorites from the day.

Lake Run Browns

Hit the water last weekend for a day with a few friends.  I was on the water for one day and caught two browns within minutes of each other.  I had one other bump but no solid take.  The colors of these fish are incredible.  Here are some pictures to show the beauty of the fish.

Hit the river today for some steel.  I didn't get any ( 0 for 4) on the swing, but my buddy Geoff had a great day so I was his staff photographer for the day.

Snowy October

Got out this morning for a walk and some photos.  Still working on composition and exposure.

A Doe a Deer

Got out last weekend for a little shooting with the camera.  Got close to a deer and this was the best shot I managed.  Nothing great but still nice to get so close to deer.  It will be harder soon given that the hunting season is upon us.
